Our trip to Sweden begins on 31 May 2025. We’ll drive across the Storebælt and Øresund bridges to Malmö. We’ll then spend two days exploring the city and its sights. Parks, museums, markets, alternative shops and restaurants offer a diverse experience. The journey then continues to the Sweden Rock Festival in Norje. The special atmosphere can already be felt in the traffic jam, which is more relaxed and consists of an older crowd than at many other festivals.
The festival site offers five stages, good organisation and a cosy atmosphere, as visitors are allowed to bring chairs and picnic blankets. Musically, the spectrum is wide, with performances from Opeth, Slipknot, Korn, Kreator, Dream Theater, Scorpions, Meshuggah, Eagles of Death Metal and Sabaton, who will perform as the grand finale. Interviews with bands such as Dark Tranquillity, Orbit Culture, Huggorm, Crazy Lixx and VOLA add a personal touch to the experience.
Despite the rain on Sweden’s national holiday, the atmosphere remained exuberant. As well as the music, visitors are impressed by the friendly audience, the relaxed atmosphere and the wide range of culinary offerings. After four intense days, the conclusion is clear: this was an unforgettable festival full of encounters and highlights, and a return in 2026 is already firmly planned.

Die Reise nach Schweden startet am 31. Mai 2025. Mit dem Auto geht es über die Storebælt- und die Öresundbrücke nach Malmö. Dort werden zwei Tage lang die Stadt und ihre Sehenswürdigkeiten erkundet. Parks, Museen, Märkte, alternative Geschäfte und Restaurants vermitteln einen vielseitigen Eindruck. Danach führt die Reise weiter zum Sweden Rock Festival nach Norje. Bereits im Stau ist die besondere Stimmung zu spüren: entspannter und älter als auf vielen anderen Festivals.
Das Festivalgelände bietet fünf Bühnen, eine gute Organisation und eine ungewöhnlich gemütliche Atmosphäre, da die Besucher Stühle und Picknickdecken mitbringen dürfen. Musikalisch gibt es ein breites Spektrum: u. a. Opeth, Slipknot, Korn, Kreator, Dream Theater, Scorpions, Meshuggah, Eagles of Death Metal und als fulminanter Abschluss Sabaton. Interviews mit Bands wie Dark Tranquillity, Orbit Culture, Huggorm, Crazy Lixx und VOLA machen das Erlebnis noch persönlicher.
Trotz des Regens am schwedischen Nationalfeiertag bleibt die Stimmung ausgelassen. Neben der Musik beeindrucken auch das freundliche Publikum, die entspannte Atmosphäre und die vielen kulinarischen Angebote. Nach vier intensiven Tagen bleibt das Fazit: ein unvergessliches Festival voller Begegnungen und Höhepunkte – die Rückkehr im Jahr 2026 ist bereits fest eingeplant.
